The Minneapolis Aquatennial 2009 from Friday July 17th through Saturday the 25th marks the 70th anniversary of The Official Civic Celebration of the City of Minneapolis with its classic array of boat races, parades, and the beauty contest – all culminating with a fireworks show on the last day on the Riverfront.  It’s a wonderful summer event for the whole family.   The theme this year is “The Best Days of Summer”, and we’re promised some good weather, too.  Don’t miss it!
