When I looked out my window 20 minutes ago while checking the local weather radar, I would have bet quite a bit that we were headed for a much bigger snowfall than had been predicted.  Thankfully, it looks like the weather folks were right because the snow has tapered off into small flurries.

But it reminded me to check into Twitter to see if Minneapolis had declared a Snow Emergency.  If you park on the streets, be sure to follow @MinneapolisSnow  or @StPaulSnow  to be notified when Snow Emergencies are declared.  Getting towed will ruin your day, much less any staycation plans you might have made.
